Trafficsignals for the blind and visually impaired
My final project for my Bachelor of Science at DTU. The project focused on the problems with the auditive trafficsignals used to guide blind people in the traffic. The proposed solution was a simple personal radiotransmitter with a limited range, that could activate the signals whenever a blind person approached them. The project was rewarded with the grade 12 (A) and was mentioned in several newpapers and other media. See links (Dansih only):
The project was also added to the library at "The Visual Impairment Knowledge Centre" in Denmark.
